Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is primarily a talk-based therapy that is meant to support people in improving and maintaining their mental health and well-being. It can be short-term dealing with immediate issues or long-term dealing with more longstanding, complex issues. Common reasons people see me are for depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, interpersonal/relationship concerns and career and life transitions.
I am an associate with Psychological & Counselling Services and they will facilitate appointment bookings and billing.
The relationship is key - A trusting, non-judgemental relationship will allow us to have a space to explore the pieces of your life as you need to.
Emotions tell a story - Your emotions help you determine how to respond in situations. Together we can explore these so we can understand where the emotional response may come from and what meaning it has for you.
Change is possible - Our work may include change and acceptance and that this may look different for all of us.
